Fred Miller Estate

11 Bdrms / 5 Full & 2 Half Baths

Historical 11-Bedroom estate on Oconomowoc Lake recently listed by JJ Hausmann of Lake Country Listings.

Along Beach Road on the west shores of Oconomowoc Lake. This is just nine minutes from the I-94/Hwy 67 exit.

This 1870s eleven-bedroom, 10000+ square foot estate on Oconomowoc Lake was once owned by the Miller family of Miller Brewing and was just listed for $2.39m.

Frederick C and Adele Miller purchased the home in the 1940s as a summer retreat for their growing family. Fred Miller is arguably one of Milwaukee's most famous citizens. Originally from Whitefish Bay, Miller attended Notre Dame where he captained the football team under Knute Rockne. Miller would go on to be President of Miller Brewing (the company his mother's father started) and brought the Braves to Milwaukee from Boston. Sadly, he died in a plane crash in 1954. (Wikipedia has a longer bio.)

This large home includes an expansive waterfront along Beach Road on the western shore. This includes two separate docks and plenty of room for summer water activity.
