Bay Favorite

5 Bdrms / 4 Full & 1 Half Bath

This beautiful five-bedroom Colonial in Whitefish Bay was just listed by Suzanne Powers of Powers Realty.

The location is Kent Avenue, between Montclair and Monrovia. This is just a couple of blocks from both Richards School and the JCC.

Here is one of our favorites in Whitefish Bay: this charming, renovated Whitefish Bay Colonial was built in 1938 for Miller Brewing scion Frederick C. Miller. It was on the market briefly last year and the sellers inform us that they won't leave it on the market for long. It was just listed this week by Suzanne Powers of Powers Realty.

This home has had just four owners since it was built in 1938 - including Fred C. Miller. Miller was from Whitefish Bay and attended Notre Dame where, in 1928, he was captain of the football team under Knute Rockne. Later, Miller was President of Miller Brewing and brought the Braves to Milwaukee from Boston. Sadly, he died in a plane crash in 1954. (Wikipedia link.)

This Colonial has five bedrooms and is on a double lot with an awesome fenced-in backyard and a lovely deck (pictured below). Inside has been completely renovated, including a new kitchen, new bathrooms and new floors. We really like the cute family room that opens out to the pretty deck and yard - looks excellent for entertaining.
