Normandy in Bay
6 Bdrms / 4 Full & 2 Half Bath
Beautiful 1920s "French Normandy" style home listed by the Stallé Realty Group.
This beautiful 1920s "French Normandy"-style home was listed last week in Whitefish Bay by the Stallé Realty Group, for $2.45 million. This was built in 1929 for the Weschler family, early Milwaukee "Maltsters" (distributors of Malt for beer) and designed by Milwaukee architect Armin Frank.
The location is the very pretty block of Wilshire, north of Cumberland in southeastern Whitefish Bay. This is a block west of Lake Drive and not far from that part of Shorewood with the Oakland Ave Collectivo.
This is quite an impressive home, even for Whitefish Bay. It's nearly 10,000 square feet on an extra big lot and has been renovated throughout. We really adore the beautiful vintage foyer (pictured below) and the sublime dining room with that beautiful tray ceiling. Also check out the cool AV room over the garage and the large, finished lower level. Check out the Youtube video of the home.
