One of Our Favorites

5 Bdrms / 3 Full & 1 Half Bath

Five-bedroom Turn-of-the-century home on Terrace & Bradford.

One of our favorite Eastside homes just went on the market this week. This five-bedroom Georgian Revival/Colonial was built in 1899 for Dr. L.J. Stephan, an early Milwaukee Dentist. It's listed by Keller William's Jay Schmidt and is included in this evening's Twilight Open House (on Thursday, July 20, 5-7pm).

The location is ideal: the corner of Terrace and Bradford is just a block from Wahl Avenue and the bluff overlooking Bradford Beach. It's just a quick walk to Downer Avenue or to Whole Foods.

And, it's very pretty - we've always thought that it would be at home in Charleston or Savannah. Inside, there has been much renovation: it has a big, modern kitchen and all of the bathrooms look recently done. There's a very nice third-floor space that looks great and the side yard is almost an entire lot. Also! There is a Widow's Walk (aka a roof deck) that has views of the Lake.
