Foreclosed Eschweiler

7 Bedrooms / NA Baths

7-bedroom, Lake Drive, Eastside Tudor in foreclosure.

Update: The price just increased up to $581,700. It has been previously listed as low as $554k. We can't recall seeing a house that's been on the market awhile have a price increase.

This beautiful seven-bedroom Tudor-Revival style home has fallen on hard times and is offered for sale in foreclosure. Sad because it's a gem - it's the Phillip Ettenheim House, built in 1908 and designed by Alexander Eschweiler. Ettenheim was a tobacco merchant and the Milwaukee Art Museum has furniture from the home in its collection.

The location is a great one! Lake Drive between Belleview and Park Place, just two blocks from Downer and two blocks from the Pokemon Central part of Lake Park.

It looks like this home is in very rough shape. And the photos on the listing don't give the listing any help - they're awful. But we hope this home finds a good owner. With its history, it deserves to be restored.
