Daphne Colonial

4 Bedrooms / 2 Full & 1 Half Bath

Four-bedroom colonial in southern Fox Point.

We've wanted to feature this pretty, four-bedroom colonial in Fox Point ever since it went on the market in May. It recently had a price reduction and is still available.

This is a cool location. It's the slice of Fox Point that lies between Santa Monica and Lake Drive, north of the Whitefish Bay border. It's a quiet neighborhood but it's still convenient to Whitefish Bay, Silver Spring, the JCC, etc.

We love the design of this colonial. It was built in 1935 and, according to the listing, was designed by the Milwaukee architect George Spinti. Spinti was a partner in the firm of Spinti & Veenendaal and trained under Alexander Eschweiler.

Inside, the home retains much of its 1930s charm but has been updated, including a very cool kitchen remodel. We love the layout of the kitchen (pictured below) and the attached family room. It also has a pretty backyard patio.
