Tosa History in Mequon

5 Bedrooms / 4 Full Bathrooms

A five-bedroom home that was built in 1886 in Wauwatosa and moved to Mequon in 1982.

This five-bedroom home  in northwest Mequon has a very interesting history. It was built in 1886 by early Milwaukeeian Martin Kressin, on North Avenue in Wauwatosa. Then in 1982, it was relocated to Mequon!

The location is on Fox Hollow Road, a very pretty country road that's north of Highland and west of Granville Road.

According to the listing agent, at the time of the move, the home was modernized with plumbing, electrical, insulation, drywall etc. The current owners added a large addition to the home in 2004. We love that the home has a vintage look (and history) while being a thoroughly modern home. Also, the octagon-shaped sunroom looks particularly cool with that big fireplace and the plethora of windows.
