Eastside Favorite

6 Bedrooms / 3 Full & 1 Half Bath

Six bedroom Federal Colonial on Summit.

Covet - verb - to yearn to possess or have something. That's the right word to describe this awesome home on Summit, on Milwaukee's Eastside. We've gone by here thousands of times and always thought this is the most beautiful home in the neighborhood. It was originally built in 1909 for Ferdinand Loesser, a fur exporter, by the Milwaukee architects Eschweiler and Eschweiler.

The location of this six-bedroom, red-brick Federal Colonial is Summit and Linnwood, just a few blocks north of Newberry and just west of Lake Park. It's very close to UWM and the Downer Ave business district.

What do we like best? Well, the awesome backyard with a pool (pic below). We also adore the barrel-ceiling living room and the pretty sunroom. Both look amazing. And we like the way the third floor has been finished. What a neat house.
