Mequon Metamorphosis

4 Bedrooms / 2 Full & 1 Half Bath

Four bedrooms in a secluded part of Mequon.

We love this little neighborhood in southeastern Mequon, the Juniper Association. Actually, we grew up right around the corner and continue to marvel about how convenient yet secluded this neighborhood remains. At the turn of the century, it was a resort on the "Fairy Chasm" lake. In the early 1900s it became a horse farm and in the late 1960s it was developed into about 50 properties.

The location is east of Hickory Hollow off of Otto and Zedler. Not far from the County Line I-43 entrance/exit. The property here is 2.8 acres which includes a huge side yard that we've always thought would be perfect for a winter ice rink.

We toured this home when it was for sale in 2014. The sellers have done an amazing job completely remodeling this house and making it look incredible. Gone is the old 1970s kitchen and in its place is a very sleek, modern kitchen with a great eating area. We dig the back hall with the lockers combined with a laundry room. We are really quite amazed at the transformation!
