An Eastside Favorite
2505 N Wahl Ave Milwaukee [map]
6 Bedrooms / 10 Bathrooms
The beautiful Albert J. Lindemann home on Wahl Avenue.
This "Tudor Revival" six bedroom is the "Albert J Lindemann House", built in 1924. Albert Lindemann was the founder of the Lindemann & Hoverson Company, which made electric stoves.
It's also one of our favorites in Milwaukee. It lies directly across from the Bradford end of Lake Park and is just a short walk over to Downer and to Bradford Beach. It's a great location.
It also has the most incredible garden layout along the southern border of its extra-wide lot. The previous owner was a meticulous gardener and seemingly spent the entire summer in the garden, attending to a wide assortment of flowers. The garden has been kept up by the current owners.
Six bedrooms, TEN BATHROOMS (including six full) and nearly 7000 square feet! It looks to be remarkably original, apart from the upgraded/modern kitchen. Sadly, it looks like the listing photos were taken on an iPhone but the foyer with the fancy carved wood staircase looks pretty remarkable.
