Splendid on Kenwood

5 Bedrooms / 4 Bathrooms

Five bedroom, beautifully restored estate on the Eastside.

We've passed by this lovely Eastside home on Kenwood hundreds of times and always admired the beautiful front entrance. We were very excited to see it come up for sale and get a chance to look through the photos - It is really quite remarkable.

This home was built in 1916 for sisters Katharina Hormuth and Mary Molitor by architect TF Shultz. Ms. Molitor was a partner of the Molitor Paper Box Company. (Milwaukee, apparently, was a leader in paper box manufacturing.)

The location of this home is on Kenwood, just west of Lake Drive and close to both UWM and Lake Park. The house faces Kenwood and is on the corner of Kenwood & Marietta.

We are psyched that the listing agent is letting us show a few of the photos because we really admire the way this home has been modernized/updated. The living room (pictured below) is gorgeous and we really like the interior design of the room. It's a big home with 5200+ square feet and five bedrooms, not to mention a large three-car detached garage out back.

One photo below and plenty more via the link.
